Coming up the Calder Hwy from Melbourne, you will reach the historic fountain. Proceed to the next intersection.Turn right into Williamson St. Proceed up Williamson St, over several small roundabouts, then over the railway line until you come to a large roundabout. From the inner lane, turn right into Somerville St (45deg right of straight ahead). Proceed down Somerville St past Ellis, Keck and Dreschler Streets on the left until you reach Osborne St.Turn left into Osborne St. The Osborne St Campus (see map below) is on the opposite side of the road. Proceed up Osborne St beyond the long prefabricated building and turn right into first internal road. Go over the speed bump and turn next right into the triangular car park (you may park in here or nearby).
Go into the building past the end of this car park on the left. The entrance is via a doorway adjacent to the internal roadway. Straight ahead is the Burnett Lounge where card players gather. The entrance to the Chess Club is a door on the left, just before the Burnett Lounge.
